3-minute Banana Bread (no egg) in a Mug

3-minute Microwave Banana Bread

As promised, I posted my second recipe!!! This time, it is going to be a delicious dessert recipe- Banana Bread in a Mug. The cool thing about this recipe is that it takes almost NO time to make and NO time to clean up! I know... Washing dishes can be very painful sometimes. This recipe is perfect for people who live in a dorm and do not have a "real kitchen". All you need is a few simple ingredients and a microwave.
    • Prep time: 3 minutes.
    • Bake time: 3 minutes.
    • Total time: 6 minutes.

  • Ingredients:

    • 1 mashed ripen banana.
    • 4 tablespoons all -purpose flour.
    • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts (any kind of nuts that your prefer, even chocolate chips)
    • 1 tablespoon almond milk
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • Instruction:

    • Mash one ripen banana in a a microwaveable mug.
My bananas were not so ripe but it still turned out nice.
If your bananas have lots of black spots, don't throw them away! They are the sweetest and can be used for dessert or you can put them into a freezer bag and toss them in the freezer. You can use them to make smoothies or ice-cream (ohh if you want a super duper healthy ice-cream recipes please comment down below).

    • Put all the ingredients in the mug and mix.

    • Put in microwave for 3 minutes.
    • Now you have this soft and warm banana bread.

Today So Cal was burning!!! I was taking these photos outside, both my bananas and I were ripen thanks to the heat.

I hope you like this recipe. And don't forget to tell me how it turns out. I love reading comments. It helps me to improve and get courage to continue what I've been doing.
